One child, one teacher, one hour at a time.
Tutoring lets us meet a child exactly where they are, and walk together to the next place.

Children who could use a little more.
Maybe your child is hungry for math the classroom can’t quite feed. Maybe they’re stuck on something and quietly losing confidence. Maybe they thrive when they have one person’s full attention. Tutoring is for all of these.
I tutor children ages 9 through about 16 in:
- Mathematics — from number sense and the four operations to fractions, decimals, pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry
- Form drawing & geometric construction — beautiful work that builds spatial thinking
The aim of tutoring is never just to fix what's broken — it's to remind the child what they can do.
What a tutoring session looks like
Warm welcome
We start with a few minutes of conversation — what was your day like, what's on your mind. It matters.
Hands-on work
We use manipulatives, drawings, story problems, and games. Children remember what they touch.
The new step
Each session moves the child one careful step forward — not five. Mastery, not a checklist.
Quiet review
We end by looking back at the page they just made. The child sees their own progress, in their own hand.
Investment
Tutoring is most effective when it's regular. Packages help families plan and lower the per-session cost.
